  • Nihara Krause has over 24 years of clinical experience in working in teenage and adult mental health. Having worked as an NHS Consultant, she now runs her own private practice and is a University lecturer. Nihara specialises in the treatment of anxiety & depression, eating disorders, self-harm, trauma and obsessive-compulsive disorders. She has a particular interest in developing resilience in young people and in providing them with tools for self-management. She has been quoted in a variety of newspapers and magazines, appeared as an expert on SKY and C4 news and on ‘This Morning’. Author of ‘Outside In’.


Jo Manley

  • stem4 trustee Jo Manley
  • Jo Manley trained as an occupational therapist and worked in mental health until taking up various management roles. Jo is currently working full time in the NHS as Director for a Community Healthcare Trust in Hounslow and Richmond. She lives in Earlsfield with her husband Graham and two daughters. Jo and her husband met jive dancing and this is still a much-loved pastime along with singing, musical theatre, cooking and entertaining friends.

Emma Cariaga

  • Emma gained a BSc (Hons) in Town Planning before embarking on a career in residential development. After graduating she spent many years working for housing developers in South East England where she worked on a number of large long term regeneration projects. In 2014 Emma joined British Land as a Residential Development Director where she is responsible for the delivery of flagship mixed use opportunities in London. Emma is a Non-Executive Board Member of Thames Valley Housing Association where she also chairs the Group Investment Committee.

Eddie Coombes

  • Eddie brings relevant health sector experience to stem4. He is an Executive Director at Optima Care, a specialist provider of residential and community-based services for individuals with either Intellectual Disabilities or long-term Mental Health diagnosis. Eddie is married with two children and lives locally in Wimbledon.

Andrew Sales

  • stem4 trustee Andrew Sales
  • A Chartered Certified Accountant with large public limited companies such as Diageo and Whitbread, Andrew started his own company in 1997 specialising in company restructuring. Working within the community, he is a Director of Woking Community Transport and the Lifetrain Trust and is also a local Magistrate. Andrew lives in Great Bookham with his wife, focusing on a growing family of five children and seven grand children.
