Dr Nihara Krause, CEO

Dr Krause is an award-winning Consultant Clinical Psychologist, with many years of clinical experience. Having worked as an NHS Consultant, she now runs her own private practice and is also a University lecturer.

Dr Krause has developed the MINDYOUR5 wellbeing programme adopted in a number of schools and the MERIT programme of excellence and is the clinical creator of Calm Harm, Clear Fear, Move Mood, Combined Minds and Head Ed.

In 2015 David Cameron presented her with the Point of Light Award for her work and in 2014 she received the Mayor of London’s Award for her commitment to the community. In 2019 Dr Krause was honoured to receive the British Citizen’s Award, health (BCAh) for her contribution to the health of children and young people in the UK.

Serkan Girgin

Serkan Girgin, after completing his education in Industrial Engineering in 2004, worked on diverse commercial/marketing roles at Lipton, Pepsi, and Danone. After joining Google Turkey in 2012 as Business Marketing Manager, he has led several initiatives on digital transformation and development of the digital marketing ecosystem. Since 2018, he has been leading Google’s marketing programs for agencies in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.

With his core expertise in Marketing, Business Strategy, and Business Development, Serkan is excited to contribute to the healthy development of stem4 across different geographies with a strong digital presence and top-notch solutions which help address evolving youth mental health challenges.

Andrew Sales

A Chartered Certified Accountant with large public limited companies such as Diageo and Whitbread, Andrew started his own company in 1997 specialising in company restructuring. Working within the community, he is a Director of Woking Community Transport and the Lifetrain Trust and is also a local Magistrate.

Andrew lives in Great Bookham with his wife, focusing on a growing family of five children and seven grandchildren.

Debbie Ward

Debbie is a mum with two teenage children as well as a partner at EY where she leads the financial crime regulatory compliance team across EMEIA. Debbie joined stem4 as a trustee in June 2018.

Sthen Wiseman

Sthen is a History teacher and the Head of PSHE in a large boys’ school. She has been teaching for over twenty years and has experience working in international, state and independent school settings.

She has become increasingly concerned about the challenges and pressures facing young people in their formative years and brings a strong educational background and a passion for high-quality mental health education to stem4. Sthen lives locally with her husband and two young daughters.

Franz Ranero

Franz is a partner in a major international law firm, with twenty years experience in the international finance sector. As well as legal skills, he brings to stem4 extensive business development, strategy and management expertise, as well as a passion for the cause. Originally Australian, Franz is currently raising his young son and daughter with his wife in North London.
